The 2005 River Festival Education website was created for the 2005 Tall Ships Races and is archived within NGI's website. It contains valuable resources for history teaching including fascinating old photographs and the story of Newcastle and Gateshead Quayside. The site will shortly disappear for good - possibly by early May - but you can save and print these useful resources if you get there first!

Please make History staff in your school aware of this resource. If you have difficulty, contact the site's creator by emailing alison.stancliffe@newcastle.gov.uk

Newcastle Community Heritage Project offers a variety of workshops for families, Early Years & Primary School, Secondary School, Higher Education and teacher training. They are also looking for teachers to help them plan an exciting French language trail for KS2 and 3 in the Ouseburn Valley.
