Teacherzone is where you can find out more about children's rights from a global perspective. It shows how you can draw on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in lessons and as a whole school.

Education Resources has a search menu which you can use to find publications and resources, assemblies, lesson plans and activities. You can buy these or download many for free.

Classroom Activities includes a range of activities on children's rights, which you can use in classrooms from early years through to secondary level.

You can also get leaflets and posters summarising the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child, find out how to get involved in The Rights Respecting Schools Award, and plan a Day for Change. There's also lots to keep children and young people busy, with sections where you can play World Explorers and get involved in campaigns.

If you are exploring any of these themes in your setting, please let your Network Coordinator know, so we can showcase your projects on the Cultural Ambassadors website. We can also help you to find an artist to work with on this topic. Email Hannahmackay@gateshead.gov.uk (if you're in Gateshead),
