Learning resources at Baltic

Baltic.jpg.jpg

Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art have some fantastic learning resources for schools, colleges and universities.

Free guided tours for all ages are available, including those conducted in BSL. Teachers can download teaching resources from the website prior to visiting, use the archives or book practical sessions with freelance artists. Secondary school students may be interested in undertaking a week long work experience placement with Baltic's Education Team.

Baltic offers a flexible approach to learning from contemporary art. Learning settings are welcome to contact the Education Team on 0191 478 1810 to discuss their requirements and find out what Baltic can offer your group. Whether you want to do a hands-on practical session, discover the theoretical side of the work, or gain an insight into the workings of this unique building, there's plenty to learn from Baltic!
