Free illustration workshop

sketchhead.jpgThe Association of Illustrators' Images 32 exhibition is coming to The Gallery at Gateshead Library. Showcasing award winners in various categories, the exhibition promises a variety of innovative and fresh talent.

Illustrator Bethan Laker, a Newcastle-based member of the Association of Illustrators, will run a free workshop for year 4 and 5 on Thursday 12 March 2009. Children will discover techniques of professional illustrators and use them to develop their own stories and characters. There are fifteen places available for year 4 or 5 from a Gateshead School; to book contact Hannahmackay@gateshead.gov.uk, telephone 0191 433 6920.
