We're currently considering which artists and cultural partners to invite to hold a stall at the 2007 Culture in Education Showcase, and would like some feedback from your goodselves on what you'd like to see. For those of you not sure exactly what the Showcase entails, it's an exhibition for artists and creative organisations to demonstrate what they can offer to schools and early-years settings. It also provides an opportunity for CCAs to chat to those involved in the creative sector and to find out how their work can be intergrated into schools and the curriculum. We're aware that Gateshead schools are, on the whole, very proactive and interested in working with artists and musicians, so would love comments and ideas on which art forms you would like to be represented.Feel free to leave a comment or email about any thoughts or requests you may have within the next few weeks.
